Tri-City Speedway Rules

Effective December 15, 2005

PIT PARKING / TRANSPONDER INFO / DIRT LICENSE INFO

PIT PARKING

We will again offer reserved parking in the pits this year.  Drivers may rent a specific parking spot for the 2006 race season for $25.  Any driver who would like to have the same spot that he/she had in 2005 (and attended at least 75% of the races (14 events) for your division in 2005 ) may do so before April 1.  All unreserved spots will be available on a first-come-first served basis on opening day.

Default:  Any spot reserved for a car that misses three consecutive weeks will be surrendered to the speedway and made available for someone else to reserve.

At the start of heat races you need to be in your reserved spot.  Unless you have called to let us know you are on your way, your spot will be made available for the evening to any racer coming in.

The reserved spots cannot be sublet and are only transferable with the permission of Tri-City Speedway.  Please park centered on the sign.  Only one space may be reserved per competing driver.  We may limit certain parking spots to specific divisions and/or sizes of haulers to maintain safety and orderly traffic flow in the pit area.

Reserved spots are only good for nights at which your division is competing at the Speedway.

TRANSPONDERS

Transponders will be used for scoring all divisions at Tri-City this year except Thundercars.  They can be purchased from Precise Racing Products, 724-458-4581.  You may purchase or rent a direct-wired unit or a rechargeable unit.  These are the same type transponder used by Sharon Speedway, Raceway 7, DIRT, Outlaws, etc., and if you already have a unit from one of these organizations you may use it, simply provide us the ID number to enter in our scoring system.  Please refer to the rules for your respective divisions to review the transponder locations on each race car.

D.I.R.T. LICENSES

All drivers participating in any race at Tri-City in the Modified Division will be required to obtain a DIRT MotorSports membership.  This membership will enable you to participate in any DIRT MotorSports sanctioned Big Block Modified race during 2005 at any track.  The cost of this license is $100.00 if purchased before April 1, 2005 and $125.00 after that.  A temporary license, which is good for one night only, may be purchased for $25.00.
