TRI-CITY SPEEDWAY OPENS THIS SUNDAY NIGHT APRIL 27TH

   FRANKLIN, PA …. With sunshine in the forecast, track officials, race teams, drivers and fans are ready to start another season of racing action at Tri-City Speedway on Sunday April 27^th.

   The Venango County half-mile oval located near Dempseytown will roar to life for its 13^th season of competition in the modern era featuring five divisions that include the Engles Trucking DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, 4 Your Car Connection FASTRAK Late Models, RPM Auto Sales/Sherry Shawgo Real Estate E Mods, E.F. Rogers Plumbing & Heating Pro Stocks, and Klapec Auto Body Thundercars.  This will be the first season ever for the FASTRAK Late Models at the Route 417 track.

   “We’re ready to go racing,” said Tri-City Co-Promoter Mike Graham. “We’ve received a lot of attention this offseason with the FASTRAK Late Models joining our weekly program. The most important thing we want to tell our casual and weekly fans is to come out and enjoy the races. We offer family entertainment and good value for your dollar.”

   Traditionally, Graham and fellow Co-Promoter Roger Crick have run a tight ship at Tri-City. The racing program starts on time, and ends around 10 p.m.

   “As a Sunday night venue, it’s very important that we provide quality entertainment and get the fans home at a decent time,” noted Graham. “We take pride in that effort, and so do all of our track officials and employees.”

   Gates open weekly at Tri-City at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Adult grandstand admission is $11.

   Tri-City Speedway is owned and operated by Roger and Susie Crick and Mike and Margaret Graham. They have promoted Sunday night racing at the popular facility since they reopened it in 1996. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, FASTRAK Late Models, E Mods, Pro Stocks and Thundercars race each week at the Venango County half-mile dirt oval. Tri-City is located seven miles north of Franklin, Pa., off State Route 417.
