TRI-CITY SPEEDWAY RAINED OUT FOR SECOND TIME IN 2006

   FRANKLIN, PA  ... Rainy weather conditions dominated most of the weekend and claimed another victim on Sunday night as Tri-City Speedway lost its second show of the season.

   The event included the first race of the 2006 Fame RV Center E Series for the RPM Auto Sales/Shawgo Real Estate E Mods. That race will be rescheduled for a later date to be announced by track officials.

   The Powder Puff Pro Stock Race, which was rained out on May 14^th and rescheduled for June 4^th, will not be rescheduled due to lack of an available date this season.

   Next week’s Jim’s Super Market Super Fan of the Week award is worth $400 to be divided between a lucky race fan and the winner of the Klapec Auto Body Thundercar feature.

   Tri-City Speedway will return to action next Sunday June 11^th with a five-star racing program that includes the 4 Your Car Connection Super Sprints, Schwab's Ford DIRT Modifieds, RPM Auto Sales/Shawgo Real Estate E Mods, E.F. Rogers Plumbing & Heating Pro Stocks and Klapec Auto Body Thundercars. The evening will end with the ever popular One-on-One Spectator Races for passenger cars and trucks. In addition, it will be Little League Night at the track as those in uniform receive free grandstand admission. Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Adult grandstand admission will be a family friendly $11.
